My name is Katha, and I am an artist and illustrator. With my family - my husband and my dog Lumi - I live in Germany.

I started my journey as a professional artist in 2024, but I think that this current chapter of my life is intertwined with my whole story. As an artist, my whole life has always been part of my artistic journey. I am who I am because of my entire story. Therefore, you will also notice this in my art.

As I grew up in a loving and supporting family, I have tried many different forms of artistic expressions along the way. My formative years were spent trying new things, always drawing and painting a lot, teaching myself through trial and error - simply having fun. During the time I lived abroad in South America, my worldview greatly expanded. I now see this incredibly beautiful planet even more as one world, where humankind forms a great human network altogether - not everyone on their own.

My faith has always carried me through life’s twists and turns. It is also true and authentic for me to express my love in this aspect of my life through my art. Years ago, I discovered Bible Art Journaling and Bible Verse Lettering as two beautiful forms of creative expression - not only as output, but also as a vast inner source of inspiration and joy.

At this stage of my life, I can say that I am deeply thankful and happy to be where I am. I took the leap of faith to create content, share my art and thoughts, and even my journey. More importantly, I aim to spread a message of love, acceptance and hope.

I want to inspire and empower others to let their light shine in this shaken world - to live for the good and discover their own gifts. “You are lovely, I see you.” This is my personal truth and mission. Art is the perfect way to bring more love and happiness to this world - to express emotions and sometimes share a message, even one of activism.
